   Bryan Andrews is an internationally recognized artist known for his minimalist style carvings and drawings.  His fetem works draw inspiration from myths, fables, folklore, and modern culture, blending these elements together and forming a kind of contemporary folk art. 
     His work has been showcased at numerous exhibitions around the United States, India, and in China.  Andrews’ work has been featured in shows at The Invisible Museum, The North American Sculpture Exhibition, The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, the Denver Art Museum, and Museums of Contemporary Art in Ft. Collins, Colorado, Boulder, Colorado, and Denver, Colorado. He has numerous public works installed and several more in process around the United States.
    Andrews’ work has been reviewed by Eyelevel magazine, Scene magazine, The Westword, The Rocky Mountain News, The Denver Post, The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel, The Boulder Daily Camera and several others.  He received a Best of Denver Colorado Award from The Westword Magazine in 2000 and in 2006.  He was also the subject of an artist profile in 5280 magazine.
      His work was included in the book Tiki Art Now, published by The Last Gasp Publishing Company and in Burnout magazine, a Kustom Kulture magazine published in Japan.   
     Bryan Andrews was formally educated at The Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture in 1997.  He has also studied Industrial Design at the Colorado Institute of Art and traditional woodcarving with craftsmen in his native Ozark Mountains.
